Version 0.4.0 now available!


Yay, it's been a month or so since we first released the game, and I've enjoyed knowing that people are playing it. Now, the second mission is being developed with the first level included in the new update, along with some minor bug fixes.

First of all, you may have noticed that the spiders are completely broken. They are now (hopefully) fixed. That was painful and took forever. Now, the player won't freak out when you place the cursor over him, only the arm will, which isn't ideal, but kind of funny. There've also been some minor improvements to sprites.

The new level, "The Fight Continues" is the beginning of episode 2, an ice themed level. In the fight continues, you climb to the top of the glacier, only to jump down into it and fight the hordes in the next level, "Glacial Arena".  And to fight the new enemy, you gain a new weapon - the Tommy Gun. Which doesn't particularly make sense since you have a DEagle as well...

A new mechanic is also going to be introduced in Level 2 of this Episode - pain. A mechanic inspired by the DOOM AI, each weapon has a different pain chance, and if you successfully hit an enemy and trigger their pain chance, they will stop dead. This can be used to your advantage during combat encounters.
